What's the easiest way to become happy?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 18, 2007:
I sometimes wonder if happiness comes from naivete or ignorance. I've even equated happiness with a lack of ambition. Lately, though, I've begun to think it can result from simply being content just knowing that you're working toward a goal rather than being satisfied only once you've reached it. You are going places; it just takes time to get there.
